All About Peaches

The picture above depicts one of my greatest achievements; a day that bought overwhelming tears of joy; a day that i came to the realization that hard work has finally paid off; a day i had come to realize that i can do all things through Jesus Christ, who strengthens me.........I finally became a Registered Nurse. Practicing for the past two years, driven by the smile i can place on a patient's face; driven by the touch of reassurance that can make a difference; driven by the belief that I can make a difference.

As a child growing up, if u asked me what i wanted to be when i grow up, you may have heard many other things beside being a Nurse. I always say, i didn't choose nursing but it chose me as my professional path started with Accounting. Despite where i turned nursing followed me until i eventually answered my calling. 

A humble person i am, from humble beginnings, hailing from the Town of Arima, Trinidad. A proud mother of two boys with a burning desire to improve myself holistically, an in so-doing I am presently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of the Southern Caribbean after having graduated  with an Associate Degree in General Nursing in 2012 from COSTAATT. 

I'm currently attached to a Surgical Unit within the Eastern Regional Health Authority with experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, however, i have a keen interest in Public Health. With God's grace i hope to elude my obstacles as the road to success is often filled with challenges and remain grounded in the Lord who is the author of our destiny.
